The Hawaii Land Surveyors Association (HLSA) is an affiliate of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) a member organization of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping and represents the interests of Land Surveyors in the State of Hawai’i. HLSA provides a forum for the discussion of ideas and events that affect the practicing Land Surveyor and the public at large.
Please note that HLSA has changed it’s name from The Hawaii Association of Land Surveyors or HALS in 2005 in order to restructure our organization to non-profit status. Even though our name has changed, we are the same organization that was founded in 1988.
In addition to monthly Association meetings HLSA also publishes a bi-monthly newsletter – “Lae I Lae” (Point To Point) and conducts a number of workshops providing valuable educational information to the Surveying and Mapping professions. An annual conference and a summer dinner meeting are also scheduled. Please see the Conference or News sections for additional details. Anyone associated with the Surveying and Mapping professions is encouraged to join HLSA. Please contact any one of our Board Members for more information.
